Academics

Skills, subjects and spirit, from Grade 1 to Grade 12

Our scholars follow the Ministry of Education curriculum and prepare for the national examinations. Around that core, the Trinity of Teaching develops the whole person: their gifts, their knowledge and their character.

Our philosophy

The Trinity of Teaching

Three connected aims shape every lesson. Together they help each scholar discover their passion, prepare for a profession and live with purpose.

How learning works

Curriculum, examinations and tools

National curriculum, and more

We teach the Ministry of Education curriculum, supported by online programmes, videos and resource books, and by college-level materials that stretch vocabulary, critical thinking and problem-solving.

Examinations

Scholars prepare for the national GLAT, BJC and BGCSE examinations. Seniors also prepare for the ACT and SAT and attend college fairs.

Languages

Spanish, French, Mandarin and Sign Language are introduced through songs and drama, so that scholars hear and use each language from the start.

Technology every day

Every scholar learns with an approved laptop or iPad, using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher. Classwork and assignments are shared through Google Classroom.

Small classes

With about 15 scholars in a class on average, teachers know every child and can stretch and support them.

Service

From Grade 7, scholars complete forty hours of community service each year. Our motto for it is simple: healthy community, bright future.
