We want every family, scholar and visitor to be able to use this website.
Our aim
This website is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a link to skip to the main content.
- Text and buttons meet AA colour-contrast levels.
- Pages use clear headings and landmarks, so screen readers can move around them.
- Photographs that carry meaning have text descriptions.
- Forms have visible labels, explain errors in words and list every problem at the top.
- Animation is minimal and switches off if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Text can be enlarged to 200% without losing content.
Known limitations
Some older PDF documents, such as the 2023 handbooks, were not created with accessibility in mind. If you need any document in another format, contact us and we will help.
