The Conference of Youth brings young people together before each United Nations climate summit. Our scholars represented Akhepran, met young leaders from other countries and learned about climate change, its effects and what young people can do about it.
From COY17, the group went on to COP27, the UN Climate Change Conference.
Why it matters
For a small island nation, climate change is not an abstract subject. Our vision is to raise proactive global leaders, and few experiences make that more real than speaking with peers from around the world about the future we will share.
